Jaya Celcon's light weight means that it can assist you in reducing the structural load when building on land with low supporting capabilities.
Jaya Celcon contains silica and giving it impressive heat insulation qualities. During tests JAYA CELCON Block was heated to 1,000 C, after 3 hours the opposite side had only reached 65 C. A 100 mm thick non-load bearing wall of JAYA CELCON blocks will give a fire resistance of 4 hour.
JAYA CELCON has excellent sound insulation qualities compared to other building materials.
JAYA CELCON can withstand loads of up to 30-34 kg/cm2.
The Execptional thermal insulation qualiites of JAYA CELCON mean that even in warm climates, with strong direct sunlight, low internal room temperatures can be maintaned with little air conditioning.
EASY TO USE
JAYA CELCON's larga size means that construction speed is optimized : 15-18 m2 can easily be achieved per eight hour working day. All off-cuts can also be safely utilized minimizing wastage.
REDUCES PLASTER REQUIREMENTS
Because of it's relativity large size, workers are able to create precision, flat vertical walls requiring as little as 1-1.5 cm of wall plaster.
HIGH QUALITY FINISH
JAYA CELCON can provide a presentable finish without the use of wall plaster, when required.
LOW WATER PENETRATION
As result of JAYA CELCON's high silica content, water penetration is relatively low, preventing wall decay

TIME CONSUMING AND WASTEFUL
Construction with brick utilizes large amounts of sand and cement. careless transportation and construction can result in wastage approaching 20%. These factors together with construction speeds of only 7-8 m2 per eight hour working day make brick a relatively ineffient building material.
